Secondary prevention of coronary heart disease seemed to measures aimed at preventing relapses and progression of atherosclerosis in people who already have developed disease.Modification of coronary risk factors is a key part of secondary prevention of coronary bolesti. The main risk factors remain important predictors of long-term prognosis in patients with coronary artery disease. New studies on the application of measures of secondary prevention of coronary heart disease showed a high prevalence of adverse lifestyle characteristics, other risk factors and inadequate use of prophylactic drugs in patients with coronary disease.
